Over ninty women gathered and learned about trusting God.

The weekend started out Friday night with Jana Crum reporting on the work of the Richlines in Uruguay followed by Kathleen Winslow reporting on the work being done on team Praha. On Saturday morning Wendy Dugan presented her talk on how God built Gideon s trust. The take home message was that God has work for each of us to do and He prepares and equips us for that service.

After a break Brenda Dempsey spoke on hope deferred. Hannah’s example was studied as the women learned how to trust God when it is hard, when we are longing for something. Saturday night Kathy Zorn shared from Josephs life how to trust God. Trusting God with our past means forgiveness. Trusting God with our present means following and trusting God with our future means freedom.

Saturday night there was a talent show and the women all enjoyed a time of great laughing. Fun!

In addition to these speakers, Dave Crum preached on Sunday morning on….trusting God……the theme for the weekend. The teaching was a blessing. In addition to the teaching there were; hike, bonfire, games, crafting, singing knitting and more.

In all, the retreat featured beautiful weather, beautiful fellowship and great teaching.
